Preserving and restoring vision lost to all eye diseases
We're home to Australia’s leading ophthalmologists, researchers and scientists. We conduct research and clinical trials, treat patients in our clinic and educate the next generation of eye specialists.
We're finding new ways to preserve and restore vision lost to all eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal dystrophies, uveitis and inflammatory conditions. We have already saved the sight of many people living with eye disease.
We have an involved patient community, who we work with closely to raise awareness and funds for eye research. Known as SightFighters, these committed supporters are an integral part in our mission to cure blindness and vision loss.
The Save Sight Institute is based at the Sydney Eye Hospital.
