1You need to be in LIBRARY MODE & GRID VIEW

2Place your images together in a folder or Collection (If exporting multiple images)

3Select you images (Highlight first one then Ctrl click on other images)

4Click on EXPORT (A new screen will appear and this is where you make your choices as to sizing and where to export the images for renaming for competition)

a.Export Location: Can be a Thumb Drive, My Pictures folder even the Desktop (Your Choice)

b.File Naming: Leave UNTICKED for Camera Club EDPI images if exporting more than one image

c.File Settings: Image Format – JPEG, Quality – 100%, Colour Space – sRGB,

TICK limit file size to: and enter 5000k

d.Image Sizing: Tick Resize to fit: Choose DIMENSIONS from the drop down box, Leave Don’t Enlarge UNTICKED, then type in 1920 x 1080

(the EDPI sizing for WCC and also VAPS) and choose PIXELS, Resolution: 240 or 300 Pixels per inch

e.Output Sharpening: Tick SHARPEN FOR: and select SCREEN from the drop down box and STANDARD

Metadata: Select ALL METADATA from drop down list

You could click on EXPORT and your images will be resized and exported to your selected folder BUT you can save these settings as a Preset

CREATE AND EXPORT PRESET

Click on ADD at the bottom of your screen and a new window will pop up NEW PRESET: Just give your preset a meaningful name and in Folder: Choose USER PRESETS from the drop down box

Click on CREATE

Your new PRESET should now be showing up under USER PRESETS

Click EXPORT

Go to the folder where they were exported to, rename then attach to email and send to monthly comp.

EDIT – CONVERT TO PROFILE (If your camera and working profile is set to sRGB skip this step and go to STEP 2.

Change the profile to sRGB IE61966-2.1 from the drop down box - Click OK

This is where you change the size of your image. Landscape format settings are shown (reverse if it’s in portrait format).

Reducing the image may soften it, so a little sharpening may be required before saving

4IMPORTANT: Select SAVE AS and rename your image for competition, ensure JPEG is selected as file type and choose where you are going to save your image

Click on SAVE (Ensure the preview box is ticked and below it will show the size of your image adjust the slider if required)

When checking the properties of your newly saved image you will be able to see the Width, Height and also the colour space

If you do want to sharpen your image there are several different ways to it.

These are the steps to follow for High Pass sharpening.

Duplicate your image (Ctrl J)

Go to Filter – Other – High Pass

Select the amount then click OK around 5 pixels you can adjust the opacity if its too strong

Change the blending mode to OVERLAY or you can use SOFT LIGHT

Go to Filter – Flatten Image or CTRL E to merge down
