Users Committee

UC Members 2023

The ESO Users Committee (UC) is made of representatives of the ESO users in each member state and includes also a representative from Australia and the host country Chile. It advises the ESO Director General on matters concerning the use of the ESO facilities (telescopes, instruments, operations tools, etc.) for both ALMA and La Silla Paranal Observatories and constitutes the main link between ESO and its users community. Users from non-member states can provide their feedback through the UC chair and co-chair. The current list of UC members is given below.
