Melbourne Grammar School Symphony Orchestra

Melbourne Grammar School is generously offering a free performance to the city of Sale! With their symphony orchestra touring Victoria on a heritage train, they’ll be bringing the finest classical music to country Victoria.
Travelling by train from the Mallee to Gippsland, from the Western District to the Riverina, 80 young musicians will perform beloved works by Brahms, Elgar and Vaughan Williams, a new Australian piece and a suite from John Williams’ music from the Harry Potter films and a few surprises along the way.
Donations will be accepted for the Gippsland Symphony Orchestra, so don’t miss this chance to hear a wonderful orchestra live in concert, right here in Sale; and give a little something back to the community! There will be a tin for donations on the night, or just call to book and we can accept donations over the phone.
