The Tāmaki Makaurau Recovery Office continues risk assessments for flood and landslide affected homes across the Auckland region. This includes a desktop assessment, using existing information and additional detail provided by the property owner, and a site assessment if further information is required. Technical assessors carry out the site visits. We asked two of our engineers to talk us through what they’re looking for when visiting a flood-affected property.
