This is the homepage for the Forum on Englishes in Australia. The Forum will provide a space to meet and discuss the use of Englishes (and English-based contact varieties) in Australia which is inclusive of all methodological and theoretical approaches.

We are extending the timeline for abstracts - because we all love extra time, don't we? Now please submit by 5PM (AEST) on Monday the 7th of August. We hope this makes July a bit less full for everyone.

The site is now up to order your ticket(s). Attendance this year is again either in person in Melbourne or online from wherever you like - please let us know which when you register via https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/forum-on-englishes-in-australia-2023-tickets-625825489887. 

The call for papers and Easychair site are also available. Submit anonymous abstracts of 300 words or less (excluding references) to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=auseng2023. Choose between a 5-minute speed paper or 20-minute talk and presenting online or in-person. Work in progress and by students encouraged.
