How it works
Dust off your apron, get your piping bags out and get ready to show off your cupcake creativity! Join us on Wednesday 17 September 2025 for SPCA Cupcake Day. With your help we’ll raise vital funds and awareness for our furry (and non-furry!) friends and have a whole lot of baking (or eating) fun doing it.

Bake a difference for animals in need
Not only will you have a blast baking, decorating and sampling delicious cupcakes, but you'll also be helping to raise essential funds that go directly towards providing care and support for thousands of animals across the country.
So join us with your aprons on, your baking mitts ready, and your piping bags drawn it's time to make a difference and have some fun! Ready set bake!

Helping animals in Aotearoa, together
By supporting SPCA, you will help us to prevent animal cruelty in New Zealand, provide shelter to animals without a home, and intervene and protect animals when we're needed most.
Your Cupcake Day fundraiser will help raise vital funds to rehabilitate animals in New Zealand. Animals who are sick, injued, abused or simply abandoned.
Baking a difference is a piece of cake!
