2024 FMH Networks EMCR Symposium

Join us in celebrating the diverse and innovative work of early and mid-career researchers from across FMH and the University.

The 2024 FMH Networks EMCR Symposium celebrates the diverse and innovative work of emerging health and medical researchers from across the Faculty of Medicine and Health and the University. This 3-day event offers a full program held of presentations, interactive sessions and career-building workshops especially for early and mid-career researchers (EMCR), along with social mixers and networking opportunities. The FMH Networks will each host a research showcase session highlighting current projects and collaborations in their related disciplines and fields.

The program is currently in development and details will be made available over the coming months.

Presented by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Networks, the FMH EMCR Committee and the EMCR Symposium Organising Committee.

EMCRs! Submit your abstract or EOI for an opportunity to present your research in one of the FMH Network sessions at this year's Symposium. Early and mid-career researchers (EMCR) from the University of Sydney (staff and affiliates) are eligible to apply.

VENUES

Day 1 & 2, Susan Wakil Health Building is located at Western Avenue Camperdown Campus - Google Map

Day 3 will be held at Westmead, venue to be confirmed.

CATERING

Morning Tea, Lunch and/or Afternoon Tea will provided on. All catering will have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as standard.
