The Sydney Global Child Health Network is a joint initiative between the Discipline of Child and Adolescent Health and the Sydney School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (including the Children's Hospital at Westmead and the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick) is a key partner that encourages and supports clinical outreach and capacity building in low and middle income countries.
The Network facilitates world-leading collaborative research that improves the health of pregnant women, children and adolescents in low and middle income countries with a particular focus on the Indo-Pacific region, by encouraging and linking researchers across relevant disciplines within the University of Sydney.
Although the Network primarily connects researchers within the University, it encourages linkage beyond the University of Sydney and invites anyone to join its Global Child Health community.
