CompSci is a Doctoral Programme (2021-2026) launched and managed by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Oslo (UiO).
CompSci combines a disciplinary doctoral programme with intensive training in computational and data science. It is partly funded by the EU Horizon 2020 under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) - Co-funding of Regional, National and International Programmes (COFUND).

Projects

As a CompSci PhD candidate you will be supervised by internationally leading researchers. The CompSci programme provides a list of doctoral projects within six research fields:

Supervisors

The CompSci programme provides a broad list of experienced supervisors on a top international level, who has track records in interdisciplinary research and experience in combining computational and disciplinary approaches in their research.

PhD pogramme

The CompSci PhD candidates will develop their computational, research and transferrable skills through predefined courses and workshops, secondments, and by working on their chosen research project.

Moving to Oslo

The UiOs International staff mobility office (ISMO), the hosting department, research group and the CompSci administrative program manager will support you with relocation to UiO.
