What's on

Hot topics at this year’s conference

Anchored around inclusion, connection, and community, the AIEC 2022 program will feature:

  • Essential insights and market intelligence to help you plan for the immediate and longer future
  • Country or region-specific sessions to ensure you have the latest updates on development and know of opportunities in key markets
  • Innovation in marketing, communication, and recruitment
  • Student insights to help you better understand, support and engage with international students
  • Latest policy changes presented by policy makers and government representatives
  • New ways of teaching, learning and engaging globally through technology

New ways of learning and sharing

Learning and knowledge sharing will be available through different session formats that range from structured lecture-style presentations and panels to less structured but highly interactive formats like fishbowls and cafés. New formats this year include short 15-minute presentations and roundtables.

Short 15-minute presentations will be fast paced and content heavy, but you will be able to meet with speakers immediately after their presentations in the dedicated 'Speaker Lounge'.

Roundtables for high level matters will offer whole group discussions with rapporteurs documenting key issues raised and agreed resolutions.

Introducing in-person braindates!

Braindates are a fantastic way to expand your networks, share, collaborate and contribute to the international education community.

This year, we’re excited to bring you ‘in-person’ braindates… just another way to connect, learn, share and be part of the conversation at AIEC 2022. A dedicated Braindate Lounge will be set up in the Exhibition Hall for in-person meetings.

In-person braindates will only be available to for in-person attendees, but we’re also bringing back the virtual braindates, where both in-person and virtual delegates can connect.

Important reminders

Don’t miss the early bird registration deadline

You can save $250 off the in-person registration or $100 off the virtual registration if you register by Monday 1 August.

There are also special discounts for IDP clients and IEAA members, speakers, school staff and full time students.
