The Australian Academy of Science EMCR Forum is currently accepting expressions of interest from EMCRs to join the Executive Committee in 2022. We are looking for four new Executive Members who can bring enthusiasm, dedication, skills and fresh ideas to the EMCR Forum. All EMCRs are eligible to apply (given less than 15 years’ experience working in science since PhD award, career interruptions will be taken into consideration), but preference may be given to those who represent regional locations, fields of expertise, diversity attributes and career levels that are underrepresented or not currently represented on the Forum Executive. Opportunity71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting with Nobel Laureates in chemistryApplications for the 2022 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting with Nobel Laureates in chemistry are now open. The Lindau Meetings are a highly prestigious annual gathering of around 30 Nobel Laureates and 600 promising young scientists from around the world, to exchange ideas and share experiences. Each year, a small delegation of leading Australian undergraduates, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers is selected to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting and take part in a post-meeting study tour, led by a renowned Australian scientist. Applications must be submitted by the Research Office (or equivalent) of the applicant’s institution; individual applications will not be accepted.
