To be eligible to be considered for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:*

I am enrolled full-time in a PhD in the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney I hold a primary scholarship from the University of Sydney that provides a stipend allowance I am planning to travel to another country for a minimum of two weeks to visit one or more international scholars who are conducting research relevant to the PhD project I am undertaking The research I will undertake while travelling will further my own research and contribute to the development of psychological knowledge from a theoretical or empirical perspective The travel I plan to undertake is not within Australia or my home country (where relevant).

You must supply a personal statement with your application.

You personal statement must demonstrate interest and any experience in the development of psychological knowledge from a theoretical and or empirical perspective.

Travel Proposal

As part of your application, your travel proposal must include the following information and supporting documentation:

the individuals and institutions you wish to visit overseas,
the relevance of how such travel would contribute to your PhD project and your academic development,
a statement from each individual you wish to visit indicating agreement to such a visit,
a statement from your supervisor indicating their support for such a visit, and
a travel program and detailed budget of your expected costs for travel, accommodation, and other relevant expenses.
