Babies born requiring specialised care can go on to face lifelong challenges. It is crucial that parents have the right support as research proves that children of parents with poor emotional health are less likely to thrive.
Australia’s only comprehensive support program available from a high-risk pregnancy, during the time spent in a NICU or SCN, the transition to home and beyond. In 2024, 11,261 support engagements was achieved through our NurtureProgram.
We are so proud to announce that in total 25,163 support engagements were achieved in 2024. This is our biggest achievement in supporting families of premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.
